Continuing from Game session 17…
While we backtracted to reopen the closed rifts, it appeared the various Decepticons returned through the rift back to Cybertron. Tim remotely closed the Standish Rift, as we passed through the area and continued on, there were no signs of any of the Decepticons. We traveled about half way between the Standish Rift and Bay City Rift when evening started approaching, we decided to make camp. Tim cast shelter making a stone hut that we camped out in. Ted decide to have a “Frozen” burrito, Tim got irritated with Ted’s “frozen” burrito, Taking it he magically cooked the burrito, slightly charring the outside, for extra flavor.

The next morning we headed to the Bay City Rift, which was a door sized rift, a little over a ½ mile away from a community along the river. The town had walls with palisades, a blacksmith, and was fairly self-sufficient with a population of about 75. The town was known as Victorville, we were stopped at the gate, the guards armed and armored with SDC level gear. We met a few people from the town, and noticed the town was solely humans. When we discussed trade, the town was interested in charging e-clips, and our various media and entertainment, and specifically if we had Coalition manuals and tech material. Tim and Ted started noticing the vibe of the community. We setup trade of materials for fish and hops. Tim charged the town’s e-clips, as Ted went off to the local brewers/distillers, convincing them to add flavoring to their moonshine. I went off to show the town how to build mechanical refrigeration, vs Ice chests. Tim wandered the town.
We stayed the night, Tim trading a vibro knife for our stay, after a meal we discussed the “NAZI” factor of the community. We didn’t notice anything strange during the night. The next day after breakfast, Tim and Ted walked around the town looking for an area to build a Theater we had discussed for the entertainment end of trade. Tim used a “Earth Sense” spell and discovered that there was a large warehouse sized cavern immediately under the town. Tim and Ted found a small field that Tim sensed was the entrance ramp to the underground facility. As the pair were walking around the area, a couple of Armed coalition soldiers came up to the pair. “We know what you are doing and you need to come with us” they were taken into the facility and put in a detainment cell. As they were being rounded up. Me and Ryan were rounded up by more soldiers, and taken to the facility.
Inside the facility we could see it was a full on covert base, stocked with Skele-bnots and SAMUS units. After a couple hour “Sweat” session a CS Officer came in and “interrogated” us about Kayakee. After a couple more hours of questioning us, the officer told us we could leave, and they would honor our trade agreements, as we were escorted to the town gate. Outside the gate we found our Transformers to be shut down, with “Restraining Bolts”. With heavy steps coming from behind us Soundwave was threatening and intimidating. Soundwave claimed Bulkhead was now his. We could take “the abomination” Ironhound. After which Ironhound would respond, but was unable to transform. Ted wanted to fight, and get Bulkhead back. The rest of us made him “Shutup and sit down” Because we were out manned and outgunned with a base full of Skekebots, Samus, and various Coalition troops.
We dragged the very mad Ted, being we left Bulkhead behind. We moved to the Bay City Rift, to check where it led to, to prevent more surprises. The door sized rift was rather unstable, Tiim stabilized the rift, I detected that the other side had no atmosphere. I went though in my nice EVA armor, tied off for “SAFE” return. Through the rabbithole, I discovered a pair of Transformers working at a bench. The good thing about the lack of atmosphere is no sound. I backed out before I was noticed. Back on the earthbound side of the lookingglass, I let everyone know that the rift went to cybertron. Tim tried to close the Rift and found it’s existence was fixed as it was being held open from Cybertron.
As we were discussing what we needed to do, a robotic head pooped out of the rift, Ted recognized it as Cliffjumper. As Ted fangirled and was squeeing, Brawn and Preceptor came through the rift. We told them about the situation with Bulkhead, Cliffjumper, headed back to Victorville. While Cliffjumper was retrieving Bulkhead, I radio’d back to Kayakee to notify Kup and Wheeljack. After that I contacted Northern Gun, Manistique and New Lazlo about the location of the Coalition base, in case shit went pear shaped.
A while later we could hear the familiar sound of Bulkhead along with Cliffjumper, the pair decloaked, impressing us humans with the quick upgrade and escape. We moved south along the leyline to the Amelith Rift. As the ley lines formed a triangle, Tim cast a leyline magic spell to make a safe zone for the group of us.
The Amelith Rift was stable and went to a wooded area
