Stevie’s family came to Kayakee as refugees,.. After hearing rumors of Kayakee, Stevie\u2019s parents decided to flee their home, due to increased CS patrols coming through their home village. The village they came from consisted of all non – magical humans. But his parents worried that Stevie\u2019s being “different”, would cause them to be targeted.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stevie was not a normal child, but quiet and reserved, yet prone to emotional outbursts.\u00a0 He was happy when trying to fix things.\u00a0 The changes in environment, the travel, finally wore on Stevie shortly after reaching Kayakee.\u00a0 Stevie\u2019s father hearing of the village repair shop, brought him along to see if the shop had some Junk that Stevie could have to \u201cFix\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Logan, invited them in and took Stevie to  a work bench and gave him a broken hand radio, and some tools. Stevie took it apart and then started complaining about it being wrong, and began to crash out.  I looked at Stevie, and read his aura.  Seeing his stagnated Mana and his trying hard to stay quiet, while rocking.  I knelt by Stevie and calmly told him it was OK, him and his family are safe, it\u2019s OK to be \u201cspecial\u201d as I telekinetically brought a screwdriver to my hands.  He didn\u2019t have to hide anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stevie turned out to be a Tech Wizard and genius.  He is now the shop mascot, getting tech training from Logan and techs, and magic training from Tim and the elders.  Being a child everyone keeps him from combat items, until he\u2019s older, being only now 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Techno-Wizardry Construction (+10%; Special): This is the in\u00ad depth knowledge of how to combine magic with machines in order to construct Techno-Wizard devices. While the character can always cast spells, getting those spells to integrate properly into a new TW device is another thing altogether. This skill can also be used to ana\u00adlyze a TW device created by another mage and to duplicate its plans for reconstruction.

Note: Truly alien machines and magic devices will incur a -40% penalty to analyze, repair or rebuild.
