After we upgraded the village we made a run up to Camp Grayling and loaded up a couple of old diesel generators and took them up to and across the bridge to St. Ignus to a fixer for repair. While we were in St Ignus, we heard a rumor of Gold and a Dragon on Mackinac Island, Ted was all for it, the rest of us Noped our way out. We left the generator with the fixer 4 week repair time for the pair. We checked the merc board for any jobs and the only one was a flyer for Cyber-Knights. We then moseyed on up the coast to Charles.
At Charles the village avoided our vehicle (Ironhound) like it was a plague carrier, once we got out of Ironhound a man, probably the mayor approached us asking what we wanted. He also asked us if we were Cyber-Knights, we told him no but asked if we could help. He then told us about seeing Dragon welps flying over at dusk and dawn, flying to and from Mackinac Island. We sighed and told the man we would check it out, after a discussion of maybe someone was running a bio lab, as the welps were 3 different colors, Red, Black and Pearlescent.
Returning to St. Ignus as the shortest crossing point Tim ran across the straight and did a quick look-see around the island, finding 3 Caves, he decided to check on of the cave quickly and after enter the classically named Skull cave, he found a dragon’s hoard and 3 beaten and bloodied individuals chained to a wall. A Sir Garret Moorison, told Tim to free him and his sons and escape while he could, they would hold the dragon back. Tim freed the captives and took them outside the cave while the rest of us, drove under in Ironhound. While we administered some medical aid to the Individuals that turned out to be Cyber-Knights, while Tim flew one of our small drones into the cave to check for the Dragons. After a couple minute fly time he found one of the dragons, The high pitch while of the rotors woke the slumbering beast. The drones signal was lost and the ground began to shake as the Dragon began to lumber its way out.

We quickly came up with a plan the knights told us to flee, but with St Ignus just a short distance across the water, and being full day time, we couldn’t let innocent people become dragon chow. Our quickly hashed plan was to take and use sticky grenades as detonator for The Nuclear power pack Ted had purchased for his newly upgraded Plasma cannon. We hashed over and quickly discarded ideas of setting the explosive in the mouth of the cave and hiding it, detonating it as the dragon came out, as there were 3 exits and we didn’t know which one it would come out of. The plan became our resident speedster would run in pull the pin and throw the grenade-bomb at the dragon. After a quick prayer to “The Grand Father” and other divine spirits, Tim ran into the cave threw and began running out. The Bomb worked by luck and divine providence, destroying The big dragon and it’s 3 young underlings, while also collapsing the cave system of Mackinac Island. The pressure wave shooting Time the rest of the way out of the cave out onto the beach. We stood there in disbelief along with the Cyber-knights that that had worked.
That is where we will pick up next game.
