Kayakee education program was introduced and developed to increase the general education level of the children of the village. It was based on Pre-Rifts, educational systems of post industrial nations that promoted the importance of education. To prepare the children with basic reasoning and skills to handle the world, and future apprenticeships
The school system starts education with children as young as 4yrs old and continues to the age of 12 – 14. At ages 12-14 the youths will enter apprenticeship programs. The education is more focused on skills based learning than traditional western fact based learning. This sets the children, youths and adults seeking education a more functional, complete, and “Fun” learning experience.
Skills will be a bonus for class skills or additional “free” skills at starting starting level for individuals learning. Because these are presented in a manner that condones learning and education, compared to traditional Rifts universe where education is secretive, most learning happens rather quickly versus the slow manner most are accustomed to.
Educational Materials are offered as trade to any of the communities.

Additional courses and apprenticeships are open and available to Adults looking to learn a trade or become more skilled. Most skills are available, this includes most old world languages, a good share of modern Rifts world Languages.
